Infowars
August 6, 2009
While Infowars cameramen Jason Bermas and Aaron Dykes were filming b-roll of landmarks, government buildings and etc. in Washington, D.C., they were confronted over and over by security guards and police who believed that using a camera to film public institutions– clearly protected under free speech– is somehow illegal or unpermitted.
One of the more extreme examples of this came from a security guard at the IMF building who, rather than stating that no filming was allowed, instead made a veiled threat. He stated, “You may not want to film me. They may be looking for me in Iraq. I killed one too many over there– well, not one too many, just enough.” In other words, film at your own risk, because what I’d like to do, and have done…
Yet what he has done as soldier in Iraq is nothing compared with the devastating policy carried out by the IMF, at which he stands guard.
