Thanks to Posse Comitatis, the US military are forbidden from
responding on the streets of America whenever the whim is announced.
The Posse Comitatus Act, Section 1385, states that only under
“circumstances expressly authorized by the Constitution or Act of
Congress” can the military presence on American streets is allowed.
Yet, if the Defense Department has their way, a new authorization act will give them the power to order the armed forces to be used against the American public.
Air Force reservists are slated to be the new response team for
domestic disturbances. Disseminated from Air Force Reserve Command
(AFRC) and other reserve agencies, these men and women could be called
to be first response to natural disasters within the US. The legislation
would extend mobilizations for indeterminate periods of time.
The AFRC affirms that reservists are traditionally not used in
“homeland disaster response”. The governors of individual states can
request the National Guard’s assistance during a natural disaster when
local law enforcement becomes overwhelmed.
Our reservists have been asked and often volunteer to assist after
disasters hit the homeland,” said Lt. Gen. Charles E. Stenner Jr., chief
of Air Force Reserve and AFRC commander. “Mobilizing needed reservists
will help sustain their support for longer periods and make operations
more efficient. We mobilize reservists to handle contingencies overseas,
so it makes sense that we do that to take care of our own country.”
Because of the specialized training that reservists are given in
dealing with disasters, the US government has decided they would be
perfect as a first response team.
These functions are called “urban operations training” where military
personnel carry armed weapons with the command not to “utilize armory
or pyrotechnics”.
Within the Air Force Reserve, there are other specialized units such
as response personnel, supplies and equipment focused on disaster
scenarios.
As recent as 2008 saw our National Guard unit in America under NORTHCOM as “domestic security”.
Stenner proclaims that this new authority will allow the armed forces
to make greater contributions to Americans should there be a natural
disaster. He is referring to the frustration chiefs of reservist
experience because they are “unable to help their communities.”
The push for over-reaching authority allocated to the armed forces
will negate local reservist’s purpose by Title 10, which gives them
federal power that supersedes state authority in Title 32.
Armed Forces chiefs claim that there were reserve-component Soldiers,
Sailors, Airmen and Marines who were close at hand with the
capabilities needed, but they didn’t have the authority to act,” said
Army Lt. Gen. Jack C. Stultz, chief of Army Reserve. “Finally, we got
the law changed. This new legislation says that now we can use Title 10
reserves.”
Without a declaration of emergency or disaster from the President,
these armed forces could not act. With this new ability, they can . . .
whenever and for whatever purpose they are ordered to.
The law specifies that local law enforcement is still mandated to
provide initial response; yet if needed, the National Guard will become
the first step requested by a state governor.
And then there is the matter of scenario that allows reservists to be
deployed for a promised 120 days, which could be extended based upon
request. “We just have to make sure we have the procedures and processes
worked out,” Stultz remarked about the specifics that are now being
worked out to avoid confusion of authority later on.
Stultz is very anxious to have this power at his fingertips. “Let’s not wait until a hurricane hits to say, ‘How do we do it?’”
These reservists are going to be the response team for any future (and assured) “overseas contingencies”.
As operations in the Middle East are winding down, Stultz can now refocus his attention on militarizing America.
While
most Americans were celebrating the holidays, President Barack Obama
quietly signed the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), otherwise
known as the “Indefinite Detention Act,” into law. Obama
had initially said he would veto the bill which contains the draconian
language authorizing the US military to seize and incarcerate US citizens
without warrant, due process, trial, etc. Of course, Obama quickly changed
his mind after the bill passed both houses of Congress.
When
signing the NDAA into law, Obama issued a signing statement that in
essence said, “I have the power to detain Americans... but I won’t.”

Americans
should realize that, coupled with the Patriot Act, the NDAA, for all
intents and purposes, completely nullifies a good portion of the Bill
of Rights, turns the United States into a war zone, and places US citizens
under military rule. And what is even more astonishing is the manner
in which the national press corps, and even the so-called “conservative”
talking heads, have either completely ignored it, or have actually defended
it. The likes of Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, et al., should be ashamed
of themselves!
At
this juncture, I want to highly encourage my readers to review two columns
written by my constitutional attorney son, Tim Baldwin. He has written
two masterful columns explaining the draconian provisions of the NDAA
and responding to those irresponsible journalists who fail to understand
and warn the American people regarding the horrific implications of
the NDAA.
And
this is Tim’s
column, which rebukes journalists who choose to stick their heads
in the sand regarding the NDAA.
Mike
Adams at NaturalNews.com has also written a great piece regarding the
seriousness of the NDAA. He begins his report saying, “One of
the most extraordinary documents in human history--the Bill of Rights--has
come to an end under President Barack Obama. Derived from sacred principles
of natural law, the Bill of Rights has come to a sudden and catastrophic
end with the President's signing of the National Defense Authorization
Act (NDAA), a law that grants the U.S. military the ‘legal’
right to conduct secret kidnappings of U.S. citizens, followed by indefinite
detention, interrogation, torture and even murder. This is all conducted
completely outside the protection of law, with no jury, no trial, no
legal representation and not even any requirement that the government
produce evidence against the accused. It is a system of outright government
tyranny against the American people, and it effectively nullifies the
Bill of Rights.
“In
what will be remembered as the most traitorous executive signing ever
committed against the American people, President Obama signed the bill
on New Year's Eve, a time when most Americans were engaged in the consumption
of alcohol. It seems appropriate, of course, since no intelligent American
could accept the tyranny of this bill if they were sober.
“This
is the law that will cement Obama's legacy in the history books as the
traitor who nullified the Bill of Rights and paved America's pathway
down a road of tyranny that will make Nazi Germany's war crimes look
like child's play. If Bush had signed a law like this, liberals would
have been screaming ‘impeachment!’”
Adams
is absolutely right! Liberals are as bad as conservatives when it comes
to overlooking traitorous behavior when it is perpetrated by one of
their own.
Adams
goes on to say, “Even while committing an act of pure treason
in signing the bill, the unindicted criminal President Obama issued
a signing statement that reads, in part, ‘Moving forward, my administration
will interpret and implement the provisions described below in a manner
that best preserves the flexibility on which our safety depends and
upholds the values on which this country was founded…’
“Anyone
who reads between the lines here realizes the ‘the flexibility
on which our safety depends’ means they can interpret the law
in any way they want if there is a sufficient amount of fear being created
through false flag terror attacks. Astute readers will also notice that
Obama's signing statement has no legal binding whatsoever and only refers
to Obama's momentary intentions on how he ‘wishes’ to interpret
the law. It does not place any limits whatsoever on how a future President
might use the law as written.”
Signed
into law by President George W. Bush, the Patriot Act and Military Commissions
Act effectively eviscerated the Fourth Amendment to the US Constitution.
Now, the NDAA of 2012, signed into law by President Barack Obama, has
effectively eviscerated the Fifth, Sixth, Seventh, and Eighth amendments
to the US Constitution. Note that it has not mattered one whit whether
it was a Republican or Democrat President or Congress in power at the
time. Both parties in Washington, D.C., have superintended over the
deliberate and unabashed dismantlement of the Bill of Rights. And, of
course, we must all realize that for all intents and purposes--and with
very few exceptions--both parties in Washington, D.C., have ignored
the Tenth Amendment to the US Constitution for decades.
We
should also add that the First Amendment was pretty much expunged in
1962 and 1963 when the US Supreme Court outlawed the public acknowledgment
of God. And the Second Amendment suffered a major setback with the passage
of the Nazi-like Gun Control Act of 1968. And, of course, the infamous
Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision also effectively annihilated the
right to life clause of the Fifth Amendment to the US Constitution.
Therefore,
it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out that, over the
past several decades, the US Congress, the US Supreme Court, and the
US Presidency have collaborated together to strip the American people
of the protections and safeguards of their liberties contained in what
must be recognized--along with the Declaration of Independence--as the
Holy Grail of liberty: the Bill of Rights.
So,
how long will it be before the President of the United States will actually
act upon the power that has been granted him under the Patriot Act,
the Military Commissions Act, and the NDAA of 2012? How long will it
be before the US military is ordered to turn their guns on the American
citizenry? How long will it be before American citizens begin disappearing
in much the same way that the people in Stalin’s Russia, Hitler’s
Germany, and Mao’s China disappeared? What will be the “national
emergency” that triggers the implementation of these Hitlerian
laws? Another 9-11-style attack maybe? Who knows? One thing is certain:
these laws are not painstakingly written, debated, and passed into law
for the fun of it! These laws are on the books for a reason: the federal
government fully intends to implement these laws at some point! You
can count on that!
And
once more I need to remind readers that the only Presidential candidate
that is sounding the alarm regarding this persistent and deliberate
erosion of our liberties is Congressman Ron Paul.
I
am reminded of the sagacious words of America’s most celebrated
jurist Daniel Webster. He said, “God grants liberty only to those
who love it, and are always ready to guard and defend it.” So,
I guess it’s time to start asking the question: Just who is left
within these States United that truly love liberty and are willing to
guard and defend it? Because one thing is certain: the vast majority
of the miscreants in Washington, D.C., sure aren’t going to do
it.
President Obama who pledged to veto the National Defense Authorization
Act has signed it. Of course his promise was only for public
consumption. After all lying to your enemy is what invading corporate
takeover army's do. It was the Obama administration all along that
demanded the indefinite detention provisions be added while at the same
time telling the America people he was fighting to protect their rights.

(AP Story) Obama signs defense bill despite 'reservations'
HONOLULU (AP) -- President Barack Obama signed a wide-ranging defense
bill into law Saturday despite having "serious reservations" about
provisions that regulate the detention, interrogation and prosecution of
suspected terrorists.
President Obama's enormous expansion of the U.S. drone program may be pushing too fast for military staffing to keep up.
David S. Cloud of The Los Angeles Times reports the military is now forced to rely on a string of civilian contractors placed at all levels along the "kill chain." These are the people who analyze incoming drone video and decide when to fire Hellfire missiles.
Manning the drone fleet is a mounting issue in the Air Force.
It takes more staff to fly a drone than an F-15, and with more drones
than ever in the air, non-government employees are increasingly
employed to analyze video, and keep the UAVs in the air.
The Air Force says it takes 168 people to fly a Predator for 24 hours, and 300 people to keep a Global Hawk aloft for the same time.
The Air Force owns 230 Reapers, Predators, and Global Hawks — flying 50 of them at any given time.
But it's the 730 more drones being added to the fleet over the next
10 years that may explain why military personnel are now being asked to fly four drones at once.
Announced last week and received with a wealth of concerns, the four
drone per pilot program raises further concerns about an already legally muddled program.
Despite public resistance, legal questions, and additional pilot
stress, military officials in the U.S. and Britain are already claiming
to see "great promise" with the four drone program.
While nearly all Americans head to family and friends to celebrate Thanksgiving, the Senate is gearing up for a vote on Monday or Tuesday that goes to the very heart of who we are as Americans. The Senate will be voting on a bill that will direct American military resources not at an enemy shooting at our military in a war zone, but at American citizens and other civilians far from any battlefield — even people in the United States itself.
Senators need to hear from you, on whether you think your front yard is part of a “battlefield” and if any president can send the military anywhere in the world to imprison civilians without charge or trial.
The Senate is going to vote on whether Congress will give this president—and every future president — the power to order the military to pick up and imprison without charge or trial civilians anywhere in the world. Even Rep. Ron Paul (R-Texas) raised his concerns about the NDAA detention provisions during last night’s Republican debate. The power is so broad that even U.S. citizens could be swept up by the military and the military could be used far from any battlefield, even within the United States itself.
I know it sounds incredible. New powers to use the military worldwide, even within the United States? Hasn’t anyone told the Senate that Osama bin Laden is dead, that the president is pulling all of the combat troops out of Iraq and trying to figure out how to get combat troops out of Afghanistan too? And American citizens and people picked up on American or Canadian or British streets being sent to military prisons indefinitely without even being charged with a crime. Really? Does anyone think this is a good idea? And why now?
The answer on why now is nothing more than election season politics. The White House, the Secretary of Defense, and the Attorney General have all said that the indefinite detention provisions in the National Defense Authorization Act are harmful and counterproductive. The White House has even threatened a veto. But Senate politics has propelled this bad legislation to the Senate floor.
But there is a way to stop this dangerous legislation. Sen. Mark Udall (D-Colo.) is offering the Udall Amendment that will delete the harmful provisions and replace them with a requirement for an orderly Congressional review of detention power. The Udall Amendment will make sure that the bill matches up with American values.
In support of this harmful bill, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) explained that the bill will “basically say in law for the first time that the homeland is part of the battlefield” and people can be imprisoned without charge or trial “American citizen or not.” Another supporter, Sen. Kelly Ayotte (R-N.H.) also declared that the bill is needed because “America is part of the battlefield.”
The solution is the Udall Amendment; a way for the Senate to say no to indefinite detention without charge or trial anywhere in the world where any president decides to use the military. Instead of simply going along with a bill that was drafted in secret and is being jammed through the Senate, the Udall Amendment deletes the provisions and sets up an orderly review of detention power. It tries to take the politics out and put American values back in.
In response to proponents of the indefinite detention legislation who contend that the bill “applies to American citizens and designates the world as the battlefield,” and that the “heart of the issue is whether or not the United States is part of the battlefield,” Sen. Udall disagrees, and says that we can win this fight without worldwide war and worldwide indefinite detention.
The senators pushing the indefinite detention proposal have made their goals very clear that they want an okay for a worldwide military battlefield, that even extends to your hometown. That is an extreme position that will forever change our country.
Last night at Occupy Wall Street in Times Square, Marine Sergeant Shamar Thomas boldly defended the occupiers. Sergeant Thomas calmly asked the NYPD why they aren’t protecting the peaceful protestors. The NYPD ignored his questions and continued telling protestors to leave the sidewalk otherwise “they’d get hurt.”
Then, in an epic scene, Thomas approached the line of NYPD officers who held their batons.
While many Occupy Wall Street demonstrators had been arrested for merely crossing the street, he exclaimed, “These are U.S. citizens peacefully protesting! These are the people you are supposed to protect!” The 10-15 NYPD officers he addressed dared not to touch him.
Sergeant Thomas continued denouncing the NYPD’s actions shouting, “This isn’t a war zone! I’ve served overseas, that’s a war zone! Get rid of your batons and helmets!”
After five minutes of severely and loudly criticizing the NYPD, the Sergeant walked away leaving the scorned officers behind. The few people who were there applauded and cheered.
Marine Sergeant Shamar Thomas delivered a scathing sermon to the NYPD, backing them off and furiously reminding them that the police should be there to protect the people (see photo via Joshua Paul below):
Sgt Shamar Thomas represents a major problem for those who would love nothing more than to conveniently dismiss the protesters as “stoners, losers and fringe elements.”

When Stan and I moved to our 10-acre farm in Australia and enjoyed a considerably lighter work load, it took TWO years to make that property self-sufficient so we could shut the doors for several years and let the world twist this way and that. Today, as the economy flounders and people work several jobs to meet expenses, they simply will not have the time. Unless you already have a property and plans drawn for those needed improvements, can throw a lot of $$ at the project to expedite work, it's likely you won't have time to complete the necessary jobs. Time is short. Time is very, very short.

There is no one thing that urges me to take time off from the website for a bit. Natural disasters are ramping up while the economy crumbles. Crops are either cooked in the ground by unrelenting heat and drought, or rotted from too much rain.
Rumblings persist about troop movements throughout the U.S. Many people have witnessed this though we have not seen it here. The government is also preparing for expected civil unrest. Think it can't happen in a civilized world? Look at London two weeks ago.
Right now, the military is in the midst of "Vibrant Response 12", which is their largest-ever drill preparing for a catastrophic nuclear attack on America. We have no special, concrete knowledge of a coming event, but it is unnerving to see them prepare for this. The Cold War strategy of Jimmy Carter hoped there were no longer any nuclear worries due to MAD - mutual assured destruction – and nuking the Soviet leadership rather than wiping out the population. As a result, since the 1970's public fallout shelters are nonexistent. Before this unfortunate move, who worried about North Korea, Iran, terrorists with irrational minds and other countries that might have twitchy nuclear fingers. Now we are left vulnerable.
Many countries in the Middle East are coming unglued and while some people still view that unrest as "over there", there is no such thing any more. Crises have a way of flowing everywhere in a global community. These events, these issues are Biblical prophecy coming to fruition so we know time is short.
Take these things together and even though it was nearly 100ºF yesterday, I sense Fall around the corner. It is a gentle poking to get busy, get things done before it's too late. In the last week, The Intel Hub has reported an extensive amount of military movements throughout the United States.
We now have reports that a huge movement of heavy artillery, tanks, rocket launchers ground to ground ground to air in and around Alexandria Virgina. The trucker reported that his friend was on a secret move and will being moving the stuff to update New York.
“This stuff is being distributed in areas to protect the population.”
One trucker reportedly went through the Mojave County and FEMA was everywhere.
“Prepare for a catastrophic event.”
While The Intel Hub has not independently confirmed this report it dose dovetail into recent reports that we have received in regards to suspicious military movements throughout the United States.
Theories to the reason for all the military movements that have been documented in the last week range from an October invasion of Libya, to earth changes, to literal martial law.
The only thing we know for sure is that suspicious military and possible foreign military troop movements have been confirmed and a buildup for something in on the horizon.
No one knows 100% if any event is about to take place what we do know is military movements have been confirmed throughout the United States. It is possible that this is another fear op by the global elite but it is also possible that this is the real thing.

WASHINGTON (AFP) - The US military apologized again Monday after Rolling Stone published more photos and videos of members of an alleged rogue army unit "kill team" accused of killing Afghan civilians for sport.
A week after one soldier was jailed after striking a plea bargain to testify against the alleged ringleader, the weekly magazine published a series of graphic images and a long story including extensive detail of the allegations.
"The photos published by Rolling Stone are disturbing and in striking contrast to the standards and values of the United States Army," said a Pentagon statement.

U.S. troops now being trained to boss communities and run local governments are being readied to oversee a post-collapse America in which riots and civil unrest similar to that now exploding in Europe over austerity measures and pension cuts ravage the United States and are met with the iron fist of a militarized police state.
Reaction to our earlier story about the 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division being prepared for a situation where “in essence they will become the local government” by working with local officials has been strong, with some refusing to believe that the program is geared towards anything other than operations overseas.
However, as we outlined in our article, similar deployments by Northcom are admittedly focused around “homeland patrols” and training troops to deal with “civil unrest” and “crowd control”.
We have documented numerous incidents over the past several years where active duty troops or national guard have been used in domestic law enforcement operations.
The military are now being called upon to undertake roles normally designated to police as Americans are incrementally acclimated to accept the presence of troops on the streets as an everyday occurrence, in preparation for them to be used should the United States enter a post-collapse period of turmoil and unrest.
We covered a case in Kingman Arizona last September, where National Guardsmen were filmed “providing security” and directing traffic.
Another example occurred in Newport Kentucky, when military checkpoints suddenly appeared downtown on September 6 last year. Military Police from the U.S. Army National as well as Marines were purportedly conducting “traffic control” because the city was strapped for funds and did not have enough police to do the job.
The excuse that troops are stepping in to help because there is a lack of police doesn’t wash. Crime is down over the last 20 years, there are around three times more police and the state is not calling out the National Guard, they are being put on the streets as a result of the harmonization of police and military, a process that has been ongoing for decades, long before the economic recession hit. Troops also have guns and their primary function is to search people and vehicles, not direct traffic.
Members of the WeAreChange Ohio group interviewed some of the troops, who when asked if they would be prepared to “confiscate guns, shoot resisters in the back of the head, or throw people into ovens to incinerate bodies,” refused to categorically deny that they would follow such orders.
However, this was by no means the first time that troops have been used to fulfill roles normally ascribed to police in Kentucky.
During the Kentucky Derby on May 2 last year, Military Police were on patrol to deal with crowd control. An Associated Press photograph shows armed MP’s detaining a man who ran onto the track following the 135th Kentucky Derby horse race at Churchill Downs.
“The military has NO BUSINESS policing the citizens except during extraordinarily exceptional times of national emergency by an executive order. This is very disturbing and completely un-American. Maybe even more disturbing is that no one seems to care how quietly and easily we have accepted the burgeoning police state,” one respondent to the photo stated.
As we reported in 2008, U.S. troops returning from Iraq are now occupying America, running checkpoints and training to deal with “civil unrest and crowd control” under the auspices of a Northcom program that by 2011 will have no less than 20,000 active duty troops deployed inside America to “help” state and local officials during times of emergency.
Over the course of the last few of years, we have reported on numerous instances of military involvement with local law enforcement in violation of Posse Comitatus.
In January 2009, soldiers from the Virginia National Guard. Soldiers from the Lynchburg-based 1st Battalion, 116th Brigade Combat Team, were used to conduct personal searches at checkpoints in Washington DC for the inauguration of Barack Obama.
In December 2008, we reported on the Marine Corps Air and Ground Combat Center dispatching troops to work with police on checkpoints in in San Bernardino County, California.
On April 22, we reported the deployment of 400 National Guard Combat Support Battalion troops to “maintain public order” at the Boston Marathon.
In June, Infowars posted an article by D. H. Williams of the Daily Newscaster reporting the deployment of 2,300 Marines in the city of Indianapolis under the direction of FBI and the Department of Homeland Security.
The presence of uniformed and armed military police is part of an ongoing campaign to acclimate the populace to the presence of soldiers at public events.
Northcom was only relatively recently assigned its own fighting unit – the Army’s 3rd Infantry Division’s 1st Brigade Combat Team, which had been fighting in Iraq for five years before that. As we have previously reported, the Armed Forces Press Service initiated a propaganda campaign designed to convince the American people that deploying the 3rd Infantry Division in the United States in violation of the Posse Comitatus Act is a good thing, with images of soldiers from the brigade helping in “humanitarian” rescue missions, such as car wrecks. This is all designed to condition Americans to accept troops on the streets and highways as a part of everyday life.
The assignment of the 1st Brigade Combat Team to Northcom alarmed the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU). “This is a radical departure from separation of civilian law enforcement and military authority and could, quite possibly, represent a violation of law,” said Mike German, ACLU national security policy counsel.
The last time the the national guard and military worked with FEMA and local law enforcement on a large scale in the United States was during Hurricane Katrina, when they aided in the confiscation of privately owned firearms of citizens, even those who lived in the high and dry areas and were unaffected by the hurricane.
In August last year it was reported that the Pentagon was attempting to “grant the Secretary of Defense the authority to post almost 400,000 military personnel throughout the United States in times of emergency or a major disaster,” wrote Matthew Rothschild for The Progressive.
“In June, the U.S. Northern Command distributed a “Congressional Fact Sheet” entitled “Legislative Proposal for Activation of Federal Reserve Forces for Disasters.” That proposal would amend current law, thereby “authorizing the Secretary of Defense to order any unit or member of the Army Reserve, Air Force Reserve, Navy Reserve, and the Marine Corps Reserve, to active duty for a major disaster or emergency.”
Collating all the evidence of how the military has been seamlessly ingrained into the daily lives of Americans by way of uniformed troops undertaking law enforcement duties, there can be no doubt that the U.S. is already under a condition of undeclared martial law.
This has nothing to do with Afghanistan or Iraq – this is about turning America into a militarized police state in anticipation of widespread rioting.
Only by becoming aware of how far America has sunk into a militarized police state can we begin to reverse the incremental conditioning that has led Americans to accept the sight of troops on the streets demanding their papers.
It is important to understand that we are witnessing a deliberate collapse of society where the shrinking middle class is left with no other option but to riot in a last ditch effort to salvage their rapidly evaporating wealth.
We are already seeing tensions build in France and other areas of Europe as part of the growing backlash against austerity measures and government seizure of pensions. Now the government is preparing to openly loot all private 401(k) pension funds, which could be the straw that breaks the camel’s back and turns once passive Americans into angry mobs.
Numerous forecasters, governments, spy agencies, and international bodies are predicting mass riots and unrest in response to a worsening economic picture.
In November 2008, right as the economic implosion was unraveling, the U.S. Army War College released a white paper called Known Unknowns: Unconventional ‘Strategic Shocks’ in Defense Strategy Development. The report warned that the military must be prepared for a “violent, strategic dislocation inside the United States,” which could be provoked by “unforeseen economic collapse,” “purposeful domestic resistance,” “pervasive public health emergencies” or “loss of functioning political and legal order.” The “widespread civil violence,” the document said, “would force the defense establishment to reorient priorities in extremis to defend basic domestic order and human security.”
Authorities have also made preparations for deploying troops to round up Americans in the aftermath of an immigration influx should Mexico completely collapse, which is a very real prospect.
During the Iran Contra hearings in the 80′s, previously classified information came to light about Continuity of Government (CoG) procedures in times of national crisis. The masterminds behind these programs were Oliver North, Donald Rumsfeld and Dick Cheney. The Rex-84 ‘readiness exercise’ discussed the plan to round up immigrants and detain them in internment camps in response to uncontrolled population movements across the Mexican border.
The real agenda was to use the cover of rounding up immigrants and illegal aliens as a smokescreen for targeting political dissidents and American citizens. From 1967 to 1971 the FBI kept a list of persons to be rounded up as subversive, dubbed the “ADEX” list.
Since 9/11, shadow government and CoG programs that were outlined in Rex-84 have been activated, including mass warrantless wiretapping of American citizens.
According to respected author Peter Dale Scott, “Both the contract and the budget allocation are in partial fulfillment of an ambitious 10-year Homeland Security strategic plan, code-named ENDGAME, authorized in 2003. According to a 49-page Homeland Security document on the plan, ENDGAME expands “a mission first articulated in the Alien and Sedition Acts of 1798.” Its goal is the capability to “remove all removable aliens,” including “illegal economic migrants, aliens who have committed criminal acts, asylum-seekers (required to be retained by law) or potential terrorists.”
Let us be under no illusion that U.S. troops are being trained to target the American people, and when similar scenes to those currently unfolding in Europe hit U.S. streets, the response is going to be a whole lot more brutal, which is why active duty soldiers who have been occupying Iraqi and Afghan cities for the past several years are now being brought home to deal with Americans whose anger over foreclosures, seized pensions, a collapsing dollar and mass unemployment will ultimately reach boiling point as the descent into depression becomes overwhelming.
Local government officials are training active duty military soldiers to run communities, re-igniting fears that troops will be used to deal with civil unrest in the event of a total economic collapse or other national emergency in a newly militarized America.
“The 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division met with City Manager Mary Corriveau, Mayor Jeff Graham and other City officials gaining insight about city infrastructure,” reports ABC 50.
“Government 101 is a new program that Fort Drum has established to learn from local officials about what it takes to run a community efficiently.”
The 10th Mountain Division is a light infantry division of the United States Army based at Fort Drum, New York that specializes in fighting under harsh terrain and weather conditions. The unit was deployed to Afghanistan in 2006 for one year and then to Iraq in April 2008.
The troops are being prepared for “A sitution where in essence they will become the local government,” said Corriveau.

The program is ostensibly aimed at preparing troops to govern occupied areas of Afghanistan, but as we highlighted over the last two years, the real purpose behind the training could hit a lot closer to home.
A similar program that was announced back in September 2008 involving the 3rd Infantry Division’s 1st Brigade Combat Team was geared around training troops who had recently returned from Afghanistan to conduct “homeland patrols” which began on October 1st of that year.
According to an Army Times report, part of the troops’ mission was to deal with “civil unrest and crowd control” by using non-lethal weapons against the American people. After the announcement caused controversy, the Army Times was forced to issue a clarification, claiming that the non-lethal weapons training was intended for use overseas, but the part about “civil unrest and crowd control,” a complete violation of the Posse Comitatus Act, was not retracted.
In November 2008, Northcom announced that over the course of the following three years, an additional 4,700 troops would be assigned for domestic homeland security missions.

Under the pretext of “helping” local communities short of police in difficult economic times, U.S. troops are now occupying America as the country sinks into a state of de facto martial law.
The military are now being called upon to undertake roles normally designated to police as Americans are incrementally acclimated to accept the presence of troops on the streets as an everyday occurrence.
With the government preparing to seize Americans’ private pensions as the economy further deteriorates, innumerable forecasters are predicting riots and mass civil unrest once the vanishing middle class finally rises from its slumber and realizes that their entire way of life is under immediate threat.
Unless we can communicate the fact that having troops patrol the streets is not normal and in reality is a warning siren for a country in dire straights, those same troops will soon be firing non-lethal weapons at angry American citizens – or worse.
As Gerald Celente often warns, once Americans have lost everything, they will begin to lose it – rioting in massive numbers and mirroring the growing civil unrest we are already seeing in Europe as people rise up en masse in a backlash against austerity measures and governments raising the age of retirement and seizing pensions.

It would leave you fresher and ready to deal with another threat, so you can maintain your drive, but with more focused calm rather than bad temper and digestion.
'This could change society.' Professor Sapolsky's preparatory work was published last October by the U.S. National Institutes of Health.
Meanwhile, the Army’s got a one-two punch to quickly develop inoculations that stave off new dangers. First, they’ll shoot troops up using a “gene gun,” that’s filled with DNA-based vaccines. Then they’ll follow it up with “short electrical pulses to the delivery site.”
In a small business solicitation released last week, the Army put out a call for “Multiagent Synthetic DNA Vaccines Delivered by Noninvasive Electroporation.” The program would start by transforming conventional development methods, like standard egg-based vaccines.
The old-school methods are slow, don’t allow for readily combined vaccines, and can pose sterility risks. DNA-based vaccines, on the other hand, would be quick to engineer and offer reliable immunity — provided the DNA can enter host cells to trigger the production of immunity proteins.
Right now, DNA-based vaccines are injected into muscles, meaning a genetically engineered plasmid is delivered to “intracellular spaces,” and “is not efficiently taken up by the host cells.” So the Army would instead like to shoot people. Seriously.
In its solicitation, the Army says it wants DNA vaccines that are painted onto microscopic beads, then “deposited into skin cells by gas propulsion.” And since that method can only inject a small dose of DNA, they want researchers to combine the approach with intramuscular electroporation, which “involves injecting the DNA then quickly applying short electrical pulses.” The electric charge creates pores in cell membranes, making it easier for DNA to enter targeted cells.
Current approaches to intramuscular electroporation are invasive, and, obviously, they hurt. One study in rats also noted the “possibility of low and transient tissue damage induced by electroporation.” The Army wants a gadget that doesn’t rely on jamming needles and electrical pulses into muscle, and instead are after “injection and noninvasive electroporation [that] can be performed using a single integrated device.”
Considering revelations in recent years ranging from renditions, the overseas Central Intelligence Agency prison system, torture during interrogations and National Security Agency wiretapping, aka "warrantless surveillance", it is difficult to claim, a-la Claude Rains in the movie Casablanca, that anyone is "shocked, shocked" to find the United States intelligence system so cumbersome that oversight is virtually impossible.
According to a Washington Post report last month, in a three-part series titled "Top Secret America" by Dana Priest and William Arkin, following a two-year investigation, "The government has built a national security and intelligence system so big, so complex and so hard to manage, no one really knows if it's fulfilling its most important purpose: keeping citizens safe."
The fact that the Post described a bureaucracy resembling the Oceanian province of Airstrip One in George Orwell's dystopian novel Nineteen Eighty-Four - a world of perpetual war and pervasive government surveillance that allows the party to manipulate and control the public - is just icing on the cake for those who relish irony.
That there is an alternative "Top Secret America" spread around the country is less worrisome than the fact that nobody is really sure of its scope or activities. In that sense it resembles Brazil, the 1985 film directed by Terry Gilliam, almost as much as it does Oceania. The ending of the first article in the Post series therefore seems particularly apt:
Meanwhile, five miles [eight kilometers] southeast of the White House, the Department of Homeland Security has broken ground for its new headquarters, to be shared with the Coast Guard. Soon, on the grounds of the former St Elizabeths mental hospital in Anacostia, a US$3.4 billion showcase of security will rise from the crumbling brick wards. The new headquarters will be the largest government complex built since the Pentagon.
In fact, the existence of a Top Secret America is just another aspect of what afflicts American culture and its political system. It is the security counterpart of what academic Janine Wedel detailed in her 2009 book Shadow Elite: How the World's New Power Brokers Undermine Democracy, Government, and the Free Market. This described various US political operators converging into a single network who have risen to power on an unprecedented confluence of four transformational 20th and 21st century developments: government outsourcing and deregulation, the end of the Cold War, the growth of information technologies, and "the embrace of 'truthiness'."
What Priest and Arkin well know but never explicitly wrote was that after 9/11 the George W Bush administration set into motion counter-surveillance allegedly to prevent terrorists attacking America. Subsequently, US government counter-surveillance networks have become huge, supported by thousands of government employees and private contractors, many duplicating work. There are now tens of thousands of US government counter-surveillance agents, employees and private contractors monitoring US citizens' private records and communications with no US Congress or public oversight.
Put another way, the real problem is that the companies listed in the series are almost exclusively set up for the sole purpose of conducting work that belongs inside regulated and monitored government agencies.
The Post series is important insofar as it confers the official imprimatur of elite journalistic recognition that the counter-terrorism complex it details - including uncoordinated and sometimes little known entities of the military, intelligence community, homeland security, and even civil government - is growing faster than America's obesity epidemic.
But in many respects it is only codifying what has been observed and recorded by many other reporters, academics and scholars in recent years by journalists like Greg Miller (formerly of the Los Angeles Times), Tim Shorrock who wrote the book Spies For Hire and Mark Mazzetti of the New York Times. (It was Shorrock who in 2007 wrote a major series in Salon disclosing that 70% of the US intelligence budget is spent on private-sector contractors). In other words, it is an example of news not being news until is published by the Washington Post.
In the future, security guards won't be chubby failed cops getting minimum wage. Instead, they'll be metal death machines that can spray 900 bullets per minute if you're intruding without proper ID.
Robotic sentries are presently patrolling Israel's 70-kilometer Gaza border, and South Korea's 250-kilometer DMZ. Russia has developed a remarkably lethal beast — the MRK-27-BT — touted as superior to the USA's SWORDS in Iraq, and Australia shot into the market with its ferociously-named "Redback Metal Storm."
Border protection is just the beginning job for these brutal 'bots. Additional employment will be found at airports, banks, and all facilities critical to a nation's security: nuclear power plants, oil platforms, military installations, desalination plants, dams, harbors, etc.
Ethicists are concerned about humanity's trend towards letting robots do the killing for us, but enlisting metal soldiers has an economic upside in South Korea. The long border with the hostile hermit North presently requires two human sentries every fifty yards, rotating every two hours. Immense manpower is wasted guarding this hotspot, necessitating SK's mandatory 2-year military service. Far better, I believe, to have the meatbags working for Samsung and Hyundai. Robots also never sleep, eat, freeze, frag superiors, worry their parents, or end up homeless in wheelchairs on the streets.
The military has outgrown bows & arrows, catapults, and cavalry. The next transition will be from "Grunts -To-Geeks" — robots blasting each other while programmers safely manipulate them in air conditioned chambers thousands of miles away.
There has been much discussion on the yellow fringe that boarders the U.S. Flag, I thought it was time to post this here….
President, Dwight David Eisenhower, by Executive Order No.10834, signed on August 21, 1959 and printed in the Federal Register at 24 F.R. 6865, pursuant to law, stated that: “A military flag is a flag that resembles the regular flag of the United States, except that it has a Yellow Fringe border on three sides.”
Why the yellow fringed US flag in our courts? What it REALLY means:
When you enter a courtroom displaying a gold or yellow fringed flag, you have just entered into a foreign country, and you better have your passport with you, because you may not be coming back to the land of the free for a long time. The judge sitting under a gold or yellow fringe flag becomes the “captain” or “master” of that ship or enclave and he has absolute power to make the rules as he goes. The flags displayed in State courts and courts of the United States have gold or yellow fringes. It is your warning that you are entering a foreign enclave and will be subject to the jurisdiction of that flag. The flag of the gold or yellow fringe has no constitution, no laws, and no rules of court, and is not recognized by any Nation on the earth, and is foreign to this Republic and the United States of America.
When two nations go to war, the object of the game is to capture the other guys flag. When you go onto foreign soil, take the other guys flag down and put yours up, you have captured the other guys territory and put it under the law (Constitution) of your republic flag, or at the very least bring your flag, for a parley session /negotiation.

In basically chronological order, the following progression of contracts, and our interpretation of them follows:
The USA, a corporation of the English Crown, is bankrupt, and has been since at least 1788. The Articles of Confederation states in Article 12: “All bills of credit emitted, monies borrowed, and debts contracted by, or under the authority of Congress, before the assembling of the United States, in pursuance of the present confederation, shall be deemed as considered a charge against the United States, for payment and satisfaction whereof the said United States, and the public faith are hereby solemnly pledged.” The “Founding Fathers,” as constitutors, acknowledged and reorganized the debt in the US Constitution 1787, Article VI, hence “constitution.” Bankruptcy occurred on January 1, 1788 based on 21 loans that the United States of America received from the King of England dating from February 28, 1778 through July 5, 1782, the repayment of which had been ratified by Congress on January 22, 1783. The United States Bank, created in 1791, was a private bank, with 18,000 of 25,000 shares owned by England.

The Posse Comitatus Act severely limits the power of the President to deploy troops within the United States.
For troops to be deployed, within the United States a condition has to exist that, “(1) So hinders the execution of the laws of that State, and of the United States within the State, that any part or class of its people is deprived of a right, privilege, immunity, or protection named in the Constitution and secured by law, and the constituted authorities of that State are unable, fail, or refuse to protect that right, privilege, or immunity, or to give that protection; or (2) opposes or obstructs the execution of the laws of the United States or impedes the course of justice under those laws. In any situation covered by clause (1), the State shall be considered to have denied the equal protection of the laws secured by the Constitution.”
The Black Sheep tries to warn its friends with the truth it has seen, unfortunately herd mentality kicks in for the Sheeple, and they run in fear from the black sheep and keep to the safety of their flock.
