Frustrated citizens in more than 30 cities across the country gathered in a national "tea party" protest today to denounce the trillions of dollars in taxpayer money the federal government is doling out in the name of financial bailouts and economic "stimulus."

Carrying signs with feisty slogans like "Honk if you want to pay my mortgage" and "Obamanomics: Chains we can believe in," Americans from San Diego to Boston, and many place in between, gathered in parks and on capitol building steps to voice their displeasure.

Stefanie Huffaker brought her 9-year-old daughter to the capitol in Lansing, Mich., to join the Michigan Tea Party.

"I want the president and the Congress to know that they're spending too much money," Huffaker told the Detroit Free Press. "We don't have it. It seems like there's no end."

A majority of states have bills passed or have proposed bills which affirm 10th Amendment rights. Some affirm additional rights and/or give specific reasons. New Hampshire has written the most aggressive legislation.

With the economy collapsing, it is a very real and immediate danger that the federal government can turn into a completely criminal and fascist government. They’ll put foreign troops on their streets. They’ll grab people to put in forced labor or concentration camps if they are unemployed or protesting. They’ll conduct experiments on these prisoners.

This is especially true since a private corporation owned by a small group of people, who own over half the world’s wealth, control our currency and monetary policy through the Federal Reserve. They also have such power over the world as a whole through the World Bank, IMF, most other national central banks, numerous well-funded non-government organizations, and numerous corrupted government officials.

The Federal Reserve owners want the economy to collapse so they can grab real assets and power. Their whole monetary system is a giant ponzi scheme designed to fail because money is based on the issuance of debt, and the interest owed is not put into the system except through more debt with more interest.

The stock market has dropped 50% in value since this started last year. This is a great depression. The unemployment will rise. The spending of the two bailouts plus the trillions the Federal Reserve has printed will cause inflation to rise sharply. This same situation happened to the Soviet Union. This is not just an economic recession.

This is not just about mortgages since the value of mortgages is much less than the spending packages. The financial releveraging of the mortgages in the form of financial derivatives has magnified the problem. Giving loans to high risk individuals and giving ARM loans did stimulate the problem. The manipulation of oil prices through dollar devaluation and speculation also helped stimulate problem.

This current economic problem is largely due to the fact that we’ve been existing on borrowed time, running huge trade deficits and growing debt exponentially. Our assets now exceed our debt. We now owe more interest on our debts than we can possibly earn. The debt ponzi scheme our currency is based has busted and has started the process of collapse. We can’t spend our way out of this because we’re out of assets and out of credit.

This group of men who own most of the world’s currencies and wealth want complete centralized control of printing money. They also want a powerful undemocratic regional and world government which can usurp the sovereignty of national governments. They want more European Unions. They want a stronger United Nations. They want to push their own agendas, which include population reduction through eugenics. The threat is real and well documented in policy documents and in the mainstream press.

The Federal Reserve is doing to the United States exactly what the IMF and World Bank do to third world nations. Unless we wake up and get our head out of our fluoride and Prozac ass, we’re going to find ourselves as a third world nation, if not in the middle of World War III, the Fourth Reich, civil war, and revolution.

The only way we can stop the U.S. government and these banks is through the states. If the states are united, the people are united. If the people are united, the U.S. government ceases to function, and the states are able to reform a functioning and lawful U.S. government instead of the completely corrupt, rogue, destructive, and lawless federal government we have now.

Armed rebellion is not going to work. It will just result in a lot of dead people because the U.S. government has excessive firepower. Violent rebellion is exactly what the men in control of our money want.

I encourage everyone to write, email, or call their state legislatures to encourage the passage of such bills. You may also wish to contact your Federal Reserve senators and representative letting them know you’ve lost faith in their ability to represent the people of the United States.

We need stronger legislation with stronger teeth to make a stand peacefully and legally. We must act to prevent what is happening in Arcadia, Iowa, with the Iowa National Guard training for door-to-door gun confiscation.

We can’t allow the U.S. government to continue to usurp state sovereignty. If we allow the U.S. government to do this, we’re going to have a lot of dead people in this nation because a lot of people aren’t going to give up their guns and aren’t going to tolerate the U.S. military, corporate militias, and foreign troops invading their communities and homes.

The states may be forced to stand down. However, we started the process of thinking locally to solve our problems and to make it through these tough times. We want local, responsible, and focused local and state law enforcement to maintain order. We don’t want foreign troops and the U.S. military to do this for us.

We should consider training our local and state law enforcement to stop such door-to-door terrorism by agents of the U.S. government and the Federal Reserve. We should consider making it a high crime in the state for a federal official to offer a bribe or give threats and a high crime to receive such a bribe. We should consider forming voluntary local and state minutemen under the authority of local and state government to maintain order in emergencies.

Whether you agree with everything I put forth or not, a majority of the people do believe the U.S. government is corrupt, out-of-control, and don’t represent the interests of the people. If you don’t agree, you haven’t done the research nor have you paid close enough attention to the news. We’re on the verge of major crisis and change.

Asked if criminal investigations and prosecutions of individuals on Wall Street should commence, Paul agreed but said that the main target of criminal inquiry should be the Federal Reserve board itself because, “That’s where the fraud is.”

“They want to be lawless, they don’t want to be held accountable,” he added.

Paul said that grand juries should be convened to take on prosecutions rather than the FBI becoming involved, stating, “We have proper authority with that and experience with it and the Enron case is a good example.”

A Democratic Senator from Connecticut has introduced four bills aimed at establishing a groundwork for a system of comprehensive national service.

Sen. Chris Dodd, D-Conn., says that the legislation will “create the architecture and the structure that will serve as the invitation for everyone to serve.”. . . .

. . . . Dodd told the media that the legislation is a response to President Obama’s call in his inaugural address for national service.

”People ask me why I joined - I joined because the president asked,” Dodd said. “We’ve got a president who’s asking.”

Yes, it's great to have a black face in the White House. And yes, it's nice to have a bright, well-educated, eloquent president for a change.

But national leaders who are dark-skinned, bright, well-educated, and eloquent are a dime a dozen. The Third World is full of them. They're called dictators.

In the Third World, dictators are often alumni of American ivy league universities. The bankers, and the foundations they control, give the brightest students from places like Rwanda and Kenya and Benin scholarships to places like Harvard and Yale and Princeton. Then they send them home, help them out with money and organization, and reap the benefits when their protegés seize power and make themselves heads of state.

I hate to say it, but I'm afraid that's pretty much what has happened to America.

Webster Tarpley, in his shrill, polemical, but absolutely essential writings on Obama, points out that the Anointed One was probably anointed not by God, but by Zbigniew Brezezinksi. When Obama was a student at Columbia University, writing his senior thesis on Soviet nuclear disarmament, Brzezinski was the top Soviet Studies professor at Columbia.

Prior to his brush with Brzezinski, Obama was an easygoing party-hearty young man who did not seem destined for greater things. But after spending two years in Brzezinski's orbit in Soviet Studies at Columbia, Obama emerged on the fast track to power, his way paved by employment at CIA front companies and foundations and, once in politics, the destruction of his opponents in prefabricated scandals.

Oddly, Obama has very little to say about his years at Columbia. His admittance to the Ivy League was the event that transformed his life--yet hardly anyone in his graduating class remembers him, and Obama's autobiography passes over this crucial, formative period of his life in a few sentences. As Tarpley writes, "Obama is seeking to conceal the central event of his entire personal story: his recruitment by Zbigniew Brzezinski as a long-term controlled asset and sponsored career of the Rockefeller-controlled Trilateral Commission." (Obama, the Unauthorized Biography, 50).

If Obama is our Third World dictator, that means that we're now the Third World. The Atlantic and other mainstream monopoly media organs are admitting this, but focusing on the racial aspect: Whites are well on their way to becoming just another American minority group.

But race is an illusion; skin color means no more than eye color. The delusion that pigmentation has social meaning is cultivated by the elite as a divide-and-conquer weapon against the people.

The real third-worldization of America is not racial, but economic and political. The global banking elite is destroying our economy with a prefabricated "crisis," just as it has destroyed so many Third World economies with similar crises--for details, read Naomi Klein's The Shock Doctrine. The purpose of the economic 9/11 and its aftermath is to destroy the middle class, reduce the vast majority of the population to impoverishment and debt slavery, and establish a world dictatorship of the financier elite and its intellectual and technological hired guns. As Brzezinski's boss David Rockefeller put it, "The supranational sovereignty of an intellectual elite and world bankers is surely preferable to the national autodetermination practiced in past centuries."

Rather than nationalizing the banks, imprisoning the thieves who run them, and rebooting a middle-class economy via monetary reform and an industrial policy, Obama is aiding and abetting the trillionaire global finance elite as they loot what's left of America and drive our economy into the ground.

Senator echoes Tea Party rally cry

'People have to show that they're not going to take it anymore'

Sen. Jim DeMint, R-S.C., a staunch opponent of the federal government's increase in size and spending legislated by President Obama's stimulus package, has issued a call for Americans to stand up – literally – and take back their freedom.

"I would think it's time to start thinking about peaceful demonstrations," DeMint said in an interview with Georgia's Augusta Chronicle. "The power of the people is there. Freedom is in the people's hands right now, and it's about to slip through."

DeMint lobbied his fellow Senators to resist the $787 billion stimulus package's new federal regulations in the areas of education, medicine, welfare spending and other arenas – all to no avail, as three of his fellow Republicans joined all the Democrats in the Senate to approve the massive spending bill by a vote of 60-38.

Disappointed by the outcome on Capitol Hill, DeMint is now calling on the common people to resist government actions he sees overflowing constitutional bounds.

"Really, I think the hope right now is not in Congress to make the right decision, because they're not," DeMint says. "It's just whether or not the American people are going to stand up and say enough is enough."

DeMint told the Chronicle despite the economic times that are pressing people into advocating the massive federal expansion, he still sees those that value their freedom over the government's handout, a group of people he called a "remnant."

"That's all it is," he concludes. "But that's all it takes. … Freedom is in our hands; it always has been. We've entrusted it to people in Washington, and increasingly they have picked our pockets and pulled power from us."

"People don't need to look to Washington," DeMint continued. "It's the people's government. And the people are going to have to take it back. They can do it with their voices and with their votes – and they may have to do it with their legs. People are going to have to show that they're not going to take it anymore."

What exactly, does DeMint advocate the "remnant" do? Apparently, make a noise in the government's seats of power.

"I think some of these folks," DeMint said, "might think twice if they had several hundred people standing outside one of their state offices asking, 'What in the world are you thinking?'"

DeMint's comments, as it happens, come at a time when many Americans are responding to a remarkably similar rally cry: the call to a new American Tea Party.

As WND reported, CNBC analyst Rick Santelli became a YouTube sensation after he spoke out against President Obama's proposed $275 billion deficit-financed homeowner bailout plan and other massive spending measures with a call for a new "tea party" from the floor of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Huge protest over Irish economy

About 100,000 people have taken part in protests in Dublin city centre to vent their anger at the Irish government's handling of the country's recession.

They oppose plans to impose a pension levy on 350,000 public sector workers.

Trade union organisers of the march said workers did not cause the economic crisis but were having to pay for it.

In a statement, the Irish government said it recognised that the measures it was taking were "difficult and in some cases painful".

The pension levy was "reasonable", the government said.

It reflected "the reality that we are not in a position to continue to meet the public service pay bill in the circumstances of declining revenue", it added.

Reports say the plan could cost the 350,000 public sector workers between 1,500 euros and 2,800 euros (£2,500) a year.

Soldier doubts eligibility, defies president's orders

'As an officer, my sworn oath to support and defend our Constitution requires this'

A U.S. soldier on active duty in Iraq has called President Obama an "impostor" in a statement in which he affirmed plans to join as plaintiff in a challenge to Obama's eligibility to be commander in chief.

The statement was publicized by California attorney Orly Taitz who, along with her Defend Our Freedom Foundation, is working on a series of legal cases seeking to uncover Obama's birth records and other documents that would reveal whether he meets the requirements of the U.S. Constitution.

"As an active-duty officer in the United States Army, I have grave concerns about the constitutional eligibility of Barack Hussein Obama to hold the office of president of the United States," wrote Scott Easterling in a "to-whom-it-may-concern" letter.

Obama "has absolutely refused to provide to the American public his original birth certificate, as well as other documents which may prove or disprove his eligibility," Easterling wrote. "In fact, he has fought every attempt made by concerned citizens in their effort to force him to do so."

Taitz told WND she had advised Easterling to obtain legal counsel before making any statements regarding the commander-in-chief, but he insisted on moving forward. His contention is that as an active member of the U.S. military, he is required to follow orders from a sitting president, and he needs – on pain of court-martial – to know that Obama is eligible.

Taitz said other legal cases questioning Obama's eligibility filed by members of the military mostly have included retired officers, and courts several times have ruled they don't have standing to issue their challenge.

Easterling, however, is subject to enemy fire and certainly would have a reason to need to know the legitimacy of his orders, she argued.

"Until Mr. Obama releases a 'vault copy' of his original birth certificate for public review, I will consider him neither my Commander in Chief nor my President, but rather, a usurper to the Office – an impostor," his statement said.

Easterling said he joined the Army at age 40 after working in Iraq as a contractor.

"I chose to work … to support my troops and then left that lucrative position when the Army raised its maximum enlistment age to 40. Upon completion of basic training, I entered Officer Candidate School and commissioned as a 2LT in August 2007. After completing the subsequent basic officer leadership courses, I was assigned to Ft. Knox and shortly thereafter deployed to Balad, Iraq," he wrote.

"I implore all service-members and citizens to contact their senators and representatives and demand that they require Mr. Obama prove his eligibility. Our Constitution and our great nation must not be allowed to be disgraced," he wrote.

Taitz said Easterling is among the plaintiffs she is assembling for a new legal action over Obama's eligibility. Others include a list of state lawmakers who also would be required in their official position to follow orders of the president.

"My conviction is such that I am compelled to join Dr. Orly Taitz's lawsuit, as a plaintiff, against Mr. Obama. As a citizen, it pains me to do this, but as an officer, my sworn oath to support and defend our Constitution requires this action," he said.

Easterling was "saluted" in a forum on Taitz' website.

"Lt. Easterling, As a retired US Army SFC, I salute you sir as a true American patriot and hero! Thank you for your unselfish service to our country. It is rare to find someone today with such moral courage to do the right thing regardless of repercussions," said one contributor.

Said another, "For your voluntary service to our country, we owe you a debt we can never pay."

As WND reported yesterday, U.S. Sen. Richard Shelby, R-Ala., said during a meeting with constituents in Cullman County he has never seen proof the new president was born in Hawaii.

"Well, his father was Kenyan and they said he was born in Hawaii, but I haven't seen any birth certificate," Shelby said. "You have to be born in America to be president."

Iowa National Guard Rolls Back Arcadia Invasion After Opposition

According to Drew Zahn, writing for WorldNetDaily, the Iowa National Guard has “scaled back” its “training exercise” planned for April in Arcadia, Iowa, population 443.

Military spokesman Lt. Col. Greg Hapgood, told Zahn and WND that the operation has now been “scaled back” and no longer involves an “invasion” of Arcadia. “And while Hapgood confirmed the Guard had been inundated with objections from citizens concerned about soldiers patrolling the streets of an American town, he said most came from people out of state and unfamiliar with the operation. Iowans, he explained, typically cooperate with the Guard. The change in plans was based on troop evaluation, he said, not public outcry.”

On Friday, Alex Jones dedicated a large portion of his radio show to talking about the National Guard invasion of the small Iowa town. An undetermined number of listeners responded by contacting officials, including the National Guard, demanding the “exercise” be called off. Callers to the show indicated they would go to Arcadia in April and protest against the four-day urban military operation, described by the National Guard as a mock scenario designed to give soldiers the skills needed for deployment in an urban environment. Part of the invasion included searching houses. Alex Jones also announced he planned to travel to Arcadia and protest the operation.

“Higher headquarters leadership,” Hapgood told WND, “given the unit’s status of training proficiency, made a decision to scale back the exercise.”

It is fair to say Alex Jones and his audience are responsible in large part for the “scaled back” plans. In predictable fashion, the corporate media ignored the story and instead concentrated on frivolous topics such as octoplet mother Nadya Suleman and a supposed racist cartoon published in the New York Post.

Paul: Constitution requires coin based on gold, silver

In just recent weeks, the federal government has designated billions of tax dollars for bank bailouts, including vast quantities to quasi-government agencies that helped create the economic crisis; billions more for automakers, and billions more for homeowners who default on their loans, so where will it end? Republican Rep. Ron Paul of Texas says he has at least part of the answer: abolish the Federal Reserve.

The congressman, a candidate for the 2008 Republican presidential nomination, once again has introduced a bill that would get rid of the private organization that sets interest rates and establishes monetary priorities.

"Abolishing the Federal Reserve will allow Congress to reassert its constitutional authority over monetary policy," Paul said in a statement at the time the proposal was introduced.

"The United States Constitution grants to Congress the authority to coin money and regulate the value of the currency," Paul said. "The Constitution does not give Congress the authority to delegate control over monetary policy to a central bank. Furthermore, the Constitution certainly does not empower the federal government to erode the American standard of living via an inflationary monetary policy."

The Texas lawmaker said the constitutional mandate to Congress actually provides only for currency "backed by stable commodities such as silver and gold."

"Abolishing the Federal Reserve and returning to a constitutional system will enable America to return to the type of monetary system envisioned by our nation's founders: one where the value of money is consistent because it is tied to a commodity such as gold," he said.
Paul said every problem in the economy, "from the Great Depression, to the stagflation of the '70s, to the current economic crisis caused by the housing bubble," can be traced to Federal Reserve policy.

Paul's plan calls for the director of the Office of Management and Budget to "liquidate" Fed assets "in an orderly manner so as to achieve as expeditious a liquidation as may be practical while maximizing the return to the Treasury."

Columnist and commentator Chuck Baldwin believes it's about time.

"'We've seen money go out the back door of this government unlike any time in the history of our country,' Senator Byron Dorgan, a North Dakota Democrat, said on the Senate floor. 'Nobody knows what went out of the Federal Reserve Board, to whom and for what purpose. How much from the FDIC? How much from TARP? When? Why?'" he wrote.

"Senator Dorgan is exactly right. No one oversees the Fed. The Fed is held accountable to absolutely nobody. But Senator Dorgan (as with everyone else in Congress) has no one to blame but himself. Ever since the Marxist, E. Mandell House, convinced President Woodrow Wilson to create the Federal Reserve in 1913, the Congress of the United States has had virtually nothing to do with the way our fiscal policies are managed. The Fed (which is not even a government agency, but rather a private corporation consisting of mostly foreign bankers) dictates America's financial policies," Baldwin said.

Baldwin cites the U.S. Constitution itself. In Article I, Section 8, Paragraph 5, it states Congress has the authority to "coin Money, regulate the Value thereof, and of foreign Coin, and fix the Standard of Weights and Measures."

"Only the elected Congress, not some private foreign (or even domestic) banking interest, has the power to make monetary policy," he said, and "paper money – known as the Federal Reserve Notes – is not even legal tender."

The problem Paul's plan confronts is simple, he wrote.

"No cosponsors. That's right. No cosponsors," he said.

"Until the American people demand that their elected members of Congress live up to their duties and responsibilities under the Constitution, they will continue to have their pockets picked clean by these corrupt banksters in New York City (and London) and their contemptible facilitators in Washington, D.C.," Baldwin wrote.

Iowa National Guard to Train In Urban Warfare; Citizen Home Searches

The Carroll National Guard unit will train on urban military operations by holding a four-day exercise at Arcadia.

The purpose of the April 2-5 drill will be to gather intelligence, then search for and apprehend a suspected weapons dealer, according to Sgt. Mike Kots, readiness NCO for Alpha Company.

Citizens, law enforcement, media and other supporters will participate.

Troops will spend Thursday, April 2, staging at a forward operations base at Carroll. The next day company leaders will conduct reconnaissance and begin patrolling the streets of Arcadia to identify possible locations of the weapons dealer.

The primary phase will be done Saturday, April 4, when convoys will be deployed from Carroll to Arcadia. Pictures of the arms dealer will be shown in Arcadia, and soldiers will go door to door asking if residents have seen the suspect.

Soldiers will knock only at households that have agreed to participate in the drill, Kots noted.

"Once credible intelligence has been gathered," said Kots, "portions of the town will be road-blocked and more in-depth searches of homes and vehicles will be conducted in accordance with the residents' wishes.

"One of the techniques we use in today's political environment is cordon and knock," Kots explained. "We ask for the head of the household, get permission to search, then have them open doors and cupboards. The homeowner maintains control. We peer over their shoulder, and the soldier uses the homeowner's body language and position to protect him."

During this phase of the operation, troops will interact with residents and media while implementing crowd-control measures and possibly treating and evacuating injured persons.

The unit will use a Blackhawk helicopter for overhead command and control, and to simulate medevacs.

The drill will culminate in the apprehension of the suspected arms dealer.

Firestorm Brewing Between U.S. States and Federal Government

States May Be Getting Ready To Dissolve Our Federal Government

Could this be an ominous shadow drawing on the end of the United States of America? For years the Federal Government has presumed to be the all-powerful force governing our country, but it just could be that the Federal Government only exists at the pleasure of the state governments and the citizens thereof. States declaring sovereignty sounds like an act of secession and revolution. However the federal government can apparently be dissolved and another one formed anew at the discretion of the states. The existing Federal government may not leave willingly like so many European governments that are replaced routinely and it may engage a military effort with our own soldiers or the likes of a Black Water illegal military invasion to retain total control over us.

United States Federal Government laws are often in violation of the Tenth Amendment, which is perturbing, these events. This is predicated on an earlier provision of the Articles of Confederation, which states that, “Each state retains its sovereignty, freedom, and independence, and every power, jurisdiction, and right, which is not by this Confederation [now Federation] expressly delegated to the United States, in Congress assembled.”

A growing number of states are declaring their sovereignty afforded under the U S Constitution’s Tenth Amendment however the conventional news media are not telling you about what is happening. The State of Washington on Wednesday - 11 February 2009 and most recently, New Hampshire [2009], Montana [2009], Hawaii [2009], Michigan [2009], Missouri [2009], Arizona [2008], Oklahoma [2008], Georgia [1996], and California [1994] all of which have introduced bills and resolutions declaring and reaffirming their sovereignty. Some other states have done this in the past but then let the issue go. Additionally, the states of Colorado, Hawaii, Pennsylvania, Arkansas, Idaho, Indiana, Alaska, Kansas, Alabama, Nevada, Maine, and Illinois are considering similar measures. More well may follow, such as Wyoming and Mississippi.

The Tenth Amendment of the United States Constitution, which is part of the Bill of Rights, was ratified on December 15, 1791 and states, “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.” Historically, this was done to reassert the assignment of the remaining rights to the states and the people of our country if they were not specifically delegated by our Constitution to the United States Government. Further, Amendment Nine on the Construction of the Constitution, Ratified on 15 December 1791 states, “The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.”

The Arizona State Legislature is currently formulating a bill that declares their state sovereignty. Their bill further asserts their state’s right during martial law to call back servicemen to protect Arizona state, "…if the President or any other federal entity attempts to institute martial law or its equivalent without an official declaration in one or more of the states without the consent of that state …”

Czech president attacks EU politics

(this post may seem a little out of place on this blog, but it's interesting that the Czech president is also the current European Union president, as they rotate member states' presidents as EU president . . . it would probably be an excellent thing if we, the U.S. simply rotated state governors each year to be our president . . . so much less time to cement the power of the Executive over the country . . . )

Vaclav Klaus, the Czech president, has strongly criticised the European Union in a speech to its parliament, receiving applause from many politicians, and moving others to walk out.

Klaus, known for his euroscepticism, drew comparisons between supporters of greater EU integration and communists during the Soviet era.

The president said he rejected the "uncriticisable assumption that there is only one possible and correct future of ... deeper and deeper integration".

"Not so long ago in our part of Europe we lived in a political system that allowed no alternative and therefore no parliamentary opposition," Klaus said, referring to the
communist regimes that fell two decades ago.

"We learned the bitter lesson that with no opposition, there is no freedom," he said.

"Here (in the European Parliament) there is only one single alternative, and those who dare think about a different option are labelled as enemies of European integration," Klaus said.

He said while there was no alternative to EU membership for the Czech Republic, EU integration could take different forms.

Klaus also told members of the 27-nation bloc that their parliament intervened too much in people's lives, and said the EU should concentrate on offering prosperity to Europeans, rather than closer political union.

Hans-Gert Poettering, president of the European Parliament, responded to the controversial speech.

"Thank God we live in a European democracy in which everybody can express his or her own opinion ... In a parliament of the past I am sure you would not have been able to give this speech," he told the assembly, earning applause.

Ivo Belet, a Belgian politician, said: "I have never experienced a situation where the presidency of the European Union ... compares the EU with the Soviet Union".

The Czech Republic currently holds the rotating EU presidency, but Klaus refuses to fly the bloc's flag over his official seat, saying his country is not an EU province.

Gold rises over $1,000 on haven buying

NEW YORK/LONDON (Reuters) - Gold rose above $1,000 an ounce on Friday for the first time since March last year as nervous investors piled into the yellow metal to preserve wealth amid a tumbling stock market.

Long-term inflation worries fanned by the massive U.S. economic stimulus package signed by President Barack Obama this week has driven investors into gold, which is perceived as the most likely asset to hold its value against economic head winds.

"I think there's a little bit of panic out there. Equities are setting new lows and gold is the place to run to. I don't think there's much more than that," said Robert MacIntosh, chief economist at Eaton Vance in Boston.

No TARP Can Mend the Economy Now

The masters of the universe flashing their Ivy League degrees and their doctorates led us to believe that there was nothing they couldn’t handle. They told us they had the experience and academic qualifications to reflate any unfolding bust. The result over the past 20 months has left us further in the hole than when we started.

Credit is barely available to the vast majority of borrowers and at usurious rates considering what banks are paying the Fed to borrow funds. Financial, monetary and economic solutions have not worked. The policy is the Treasury and the Fed throw money and credit at the mess they’ve created. All they have done is bail out the banking, brokerage and insurance communities to the detriment of everyone else. How can we expect the people who caused the problem to solve it? This is the group that created the greatest policy blunders of all-time. They have proven they are not masters of the universe, but boneheads. . . .

. . . . We are now witnessing a shift in policy. The bankers and Wall Street are still being kept afloat via massive capital injections, but we are seeing big government making sure that a pittance of stimulus falls through the cracks, like crumbs from a table, into the hands and mouths of our dispossessed citizens. These paragons of liberalism give us more socialism in place of fascism as an answer. Classically the next step is to raise taxes on the rich and vilify Wall Street and banking for their greed. This is followed by a righteous call for re-regulation. This course is accompanied by the imposition of government influence and control over everything we do.

Lawmakers only have their hands out. They do not care what is going on as long as they are paid off. There is no misunderstanding within the beltway, only greed and the quest for power. The incoherence is deliberate.

Again, the life of the depression is being deliberately extended in order to complete the wealth distribution process. Money has to be sucked from the workers within the economy until the final destructive process begins. The more protracted the depression the greater the suffering and hardship. Soon the distraction of war will begin as it always has in the past. Millions will die in order to reduce what the elitists call ‘useless eaters’. Then will come the new world order and the enslavement of mankind.

If you want to wait for this to happen so be it. If you do not want everything you hold dear to be destroyed you had better start doing something about it now. Otherwise you will be fighting in the streets for your very survival. . . .

. . . . . . The financial solution is a purge, but those running this fraud won’t allow that to happen. In the meantime, as we discussed in the last issue, the dollar has cut its ties to gold and silver. Thus the next step is a major breakout. Then both metals will take on a life of their own.

We still believe the economy can be held afloat in spite of its condition for another two years despite the increase in deflation. We still don’t see the elements of collapse, but it is on the way. Be patient, it will arrive and you won’t like it. The elements that brought about this horrible situation are starting to be recognized as the culprits and for the criminals that they are. If we were they we’d quickly go into hiding because we do not give five cents for their chance of survival. Over the next two years the impact of events will be staggering. Wall Street and banking will get their comeuppance from the public, who don’t really understand how really corrupt and deadly they are. The public is not trained to and can never understand how evil and diabolical these people are. They are willing to take down the entire world economic and financial system to bring about their satanic dreams of world government. The average decent mind cannot conceive of something so evil. These are the people who deliberately wrecked our economy via free trade, globalization, offshoring and outsourcing. America cannot ever recover unless tariffs on goods and services are imposed. The plug has already been pulled on manufacturing. Next is consumer consumption, the next three to four years in housing, then Wall Street, banking and insurance.

The collapse we see in the distance will bring about social dislocation and Martial law. The Illuminists know this and are laying the preparations now to subdue the people. The question is will our military shoot their own fellow citizens? We believe 90% will not. That 10% that attempt to will be killed by their own troops. That is why at this point we believe we can work with the American military. We expect revolutions worldwide, so we do not expect many foreign troops to interfere. Let’s say Argentina sends 30,000 troops to the US, what a perfect time and opportunity for revolution. The entire world is going to be in a terrible state of affairs.

Wait until the public finally sees evidence that our government is deeply involved in the narcotics trade and that our banks are being kept afloat by laundering the proceeds of the drug trade. Then there is the corporate chicanery and off balance sheet items, the insider trading and market rigging by Morgan and Goldman in conjunction with our government. Wait until they find out the scams in real estate, real estate securities and the phony rating services that were created by the privately owned Federal Reserve. The payback will be long and hard once the people of the world really discover what has been done to them.

The new administration promised change but we haven’t seen much as yet. We have promises of trillions of dollars of spending as credit and lending remains contracted. Yes, the thugs on Wall Street continue to be bailed out and little is done to help the average citizen.
