U.S. man 'planned to cause havoc with car bomb,
machine guns and explosives belt' --Sami Osmakac 'caught by undercover FBI agent' --'Former Kosovo resident
wanted to bomb Tampa' --'Tried to get AK-47 and Uzi guns; and Al Qaeda
flags' 09 Jan 2012 A 25-year-old U.S. immigrant
allegedly developed a bomb plot to attack crowded locations with a car bomb,
machine guns and other explosives. Sami Osmakac, of Pinellas County, Florida,
allegedly bought explosives and guns from an undercover FBI agent, which were
made unusable. The former resident of Kosovo told the agent last month that he
wanted an AK-47-style machine gun and Uzi submachine guns, investigators said.
